Hobby Heaven to close
HH closing on August 1st

From the Hobby Heaven site:

Due to drastically declining sales and very few high-demand new products from the manufacturers, Hobby Heaven will be dissolved as of August 1. We’re shipping existing orders and eBay items this week, and we will be shipping what we can from your advance orders on Monday and Tuesday. We stopped answering the phone as of today since we’re no longer taking orders anyway, and that will allow us to concentrate our efforts on getting the orders shipped. If you have paid for an advance order with a money order or check, please send a note to sales@modelcarkits.com telling us so, and that will help us make sure we don’t miss any such orders and can send you a refund.

I’m going to continue to sell old kits, but just through eBay, shows, and on a new web site that will be created shortly. The message board will continue, and will eventually be incorporated into the new site. Meanwhile, the board will have a name change next week, although the URL will remain the same. Just the logos will change.

Thank you VERY much for your many years of support, it’s been fun, but with the market quickly disappearing it’s time to move on. I’m also going to pursue a new “career” in portrait photography, and I’ll keep you informed about that here on the site as well.
